The following represents My Treehut’s policy regarding fees

My Treehut Ltd is a private, fee charging educational service. Failure of parents to follow the rules regarding fee payments may lead to their child’s exclusion from the centre.

1. To confirm and secure your child’s place please pay your first week’s fees into the My Treehut bank account. This first weeks deposit is payable on confirmation that your child has a place at My Treehut or The Cubby, and is non-refundable. Details of this will be provided on your child’s acceptance.
2. If you are planning to withdraw your child from My Treehut you must give one month’s written notification. This can be emailed to admin@mytreehut.co.nz.
3. Each child is entitled to 3 weeks absence free of charge (based on usual enrolled weekdays). Days of absence in excess of this are charged in full.
4. Parents/guardians/caregivers are responsible for the payment of fees, irrespective of any third party arrangements eg WINZ.
5. Your child’s enrolment will be suspended if fees are unpaid for a two week period and will not become active again until outstanding fees are paid in full, unless an alternative agreement has been reached with management.
6. All fees are GST inclusive and are to be paid by automatic payment directly into My Treehut bank account two weeks in advance. Monthly payments are welcome but must also be paid in advance. These payments must be made on the Wednesday two weeks ahead to avoid a 10% penalty.
7. My Treehut has a minimum booking of 6 hrs per day for 3 days a week (last drop off is 9am).
8. The Cubby has a minimum booking of 6 hrs per day for 2 days a week (last drop off is 9am).
9. Holding Fee. Where a child is to be absent from the centre for a period of 3 weeks or more a holding fee of 50% of the child’s normal weekly fee is payable – this must be arranged with management at least 4 weeks in advance.
10. My Treehut will be closed over the Christmas period and you will be notified of these dates.  My Treehut is closed on statutory holidays, and one teacher only day per year. No fees are incurred during these closures.
11. My Treehut reserves the right to change fees at any time – you will receive two months notice in advance of any adjustments. Any fee changes will be entirely at the discretion of the management.
12. Change of enrolment days and times – If you wish to change your child’s enrolled days and times of attendance, you must email your request to katie@mytreehut.co.nz. You will be notified when this request will be actioned (this is dependent on availability).
13. My Treehut charges an optional charge on top of the 20 hours ECE to cover our extra staffing, excursions (unless a one off charge is necessary), sunblock, home made meals and specialist art equipment.
14. Late fees: For children who are picked up late, or dropped off early, either before/after their booked collection time or after 5pm closing, their parents will incur a late fee penalty.
15. Parents agree their child is not enrolled in any other early childhood service on the same day they attend My Treehut.
